Kickstarting Raju's 10th year of freedom with an epic feast of fruits!

Devoid of proper nutrition and care for almost five decades, Raju the elephant got a new lease of life after his rescue by Wildlife SOS. Since then, the completion of every year of his rescue was something special... and this time was no different!

Our team put their hearts and souls into preparing the grandest summer feast of seasonal fruits for this ageing pachyderm. An elephant never forgets, so it is truly heartwarming to watch Raju overwrite his traumatic past with a healthy present and bright future!

A second chance to Chinkara’s life

Recently, the Forest Department in collaboration with Wildlife SOS, successfully saved an injured Chinkara, also known as an Indian gazelle, in Maharashtra. This vulnerable 9-month-old female gazelle was in dire need of urgent medical aid after being viciously attacked by a pack of feral dogs.

After being rushed to the Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre, our dedicated team of veterinary doctors provided extensive medical care and attention to the wounded gazelle.

As the Chinkara regained her strength, she was released back into the forest🤎
